SMC can store your motorhome!
We can offer our customers safe, secure storage; the following are just a few of the facilities we offer:-
- High security storage monitored by CCTV in our secure fenced compound
- Vehicle accessible 7 days a week
- Combine storage with your vehicle servicing requirements. We offer valeting, MOT’s, Servicing, Gas Refills and we can even fill your water tank!
- We can store your car while you use your motorhome
Simply tell us when you are coming, your motorhome will be parked up ready to go. Leave us your car and drive away in your motorhome – it’s “that simple”.
You can also have works carried out on your motorhome whilst not using ithe vehicle, i.e, alarms, cycle racks, awning, top boxes etc. All can be fitted whilst in secure storage at SMC.
We also offer short term storage, i.e. the customer may use the motorhome all season and SMC store the vehicle through the winter months only. If you require short periods of storage, say, whilst you are away from home on business or holidays abroad and do not want your vehicle left at home unmonitored.
Whatever the reason or period in question, SMC can accommodate your needs.

STORAGE TIPS
- Make sure your fuel tank is full, this will reduce the amount of moisture that can build up in the tank.
- Freezing temperatures can cause serious damage, not just to the engine but to various motorhome components. Make sure your motorhome is fully winterised. SMC can assist if you need any help or advice.
- During the winter arrange the cushions so air can flow freely around the motorhome or remove them prior to storing the vehicle.
- Turn off gas at the bottle
- Ensure the batteries are fully charged
